It works on all your senses relaxing your mind and body. Kate’s massage repertoire includes Swedish massage, Sports massage, Indian Head massage, Reflexology and Aromatherapy.
Swedish massage is a traditional relaxation massage with medium to firm pressure.
Sports massage is a treatment to help restore function back to the damaged tissues following injury or trauma. It works deep into the damaged muscle fibres to re-align them, speeding up the healing process.
Indian head massage is an ancient massage art originating from the Ayurvedic medicine practiced in India and Sri Lanka for thousands of years. The massage not only improves the condition of the hair and scalp, it is particularly good for people who suffer from neck tension, headaches and migraines.
Reflexology is a modern, scientific method of foot massage. Feet are a perfect mini-map of the whole body. This particular massage method is an amalgamation of ancient foot massage and pressure point techniques to help cleanse the body of toxins and impurities and reduce tension and stress throughout the body.
Aromatherapy is the art and science of using plant oils in massage, it is a truly holistic therapy taking into account the mind, body and spirit of the client as well as day to day lifestyle. Aromatherapy is used widely to complement modern medicine as well as an alternative therapy for minor and chronic ailments.

On your first visit, Kate will take a brief medical and lifestyle history then have a chat about the type of massage that would best suit you. You will then be asked to undress the area of the body that will be massaged; you will have complete privacy doing so. You will be covered with towels during your massage to keep you warm and comfortable. After your massage you will have a few minutes to rest before dressing.
